heart attacks

Did you know babies are excellent at giving their mother’s a heart attack?

Baby Zog does it all the time. I think the first was when he went from struggling to roll over to rolling across the room in a millisecond. I walked away to rinse a cereal bowl and found him under a side table playing with his daddy’s laptop cord. That was at 3 months.

At 6 months he learned to scoot and find every electrical outlet with cords in existence.

At 7 months, it was learning to sit up by himself and not containing any hesitation when he decided to lean back to lay down. (thunk)

And at nearly 8 months, he is a climber. Last week I walked into my bedroom, leaving Baby Zog in the “safe zone.” Ha. I walked out of the room and uttered a not so good word. Baby Zog had climbed a stair and was standing straight up, prepared to climb the next. Heart attack.

And now he climbs EVERYTHING.

Here you go. And mind you, that chair has wheels. He moves, it moves. But fearless is my child.
